1) I wrote those rules quite a few years ago (and to be honest, that particular skill specialization has just never come up in a playtest) so the exact details of why I represented it that way is sort of lost to time. However, I think that I did some basic research on that and found that mariners considered sailboat skills to be more similar to operating a motorboat for some reason. (I'm not a boater of any kind and have no idea where I may have read it, so don't quote me on that.) Or, I could be misremembering that, and maybe I just did it that way to prevent a visually distracting line from snaking around the box on the specialization flowchart for a specialization that almost no one would ever use...
2) Yep, that's definitely supposed to be a reference to Field Medic. This has been noted to be corrected in a future printing.
1) The SAILBOAT specialization is an upgrade to MOTORBOAT following the rules (page 40). Wouldn't it be better if it were an upgrade to ROWBOAT?
2) There are two references to a COMBAT MEDIC specialization: page 69 in the CLEAR SENSES action and page 71 for the reduction of the Sensory Overload Bank. This specialization is not included in the MEDICINE competence. (or it corresponds to the FIELD MEDIC specialization)
Uh, yep, good catch. I'm not sure how that happened, possibly something miskeyed while typesetting the book? The actual text that's supposed to be there is:
> You may also freely transfer XP to this social bank for any reason.

thank you for your reply.
I still have two comments (for now ...):
